The Hellenic Neonatology Society was founded on February 5, 2004, with its headquarters in Thessaloniki.
Aims:
- Optimal Care for the Newborn: To provide the best possible care for newborns by sharing knowledge and fostering closer cooperation among Neonatologists, Pediatricians, Obstetricians, and other scientists who address newborn-related issues.
- Representation: To represent its members in Greek state bodies, as well as in Panhellenic and international forums, on scientific matters.
Cooperation and Solidarity: To promote cooperation and solidarity among its members, aiming to elevate the role of the neonatologist as both a scientist and a professional, and to defend and advance their interests.
